IT and telecom spending in India topped $2.3 billion last year, spurred by large business spending that looks like it will continue this year, even though the global economy has slowed, says a new report from Access Markets International Partners. The study says large businesses are looking for ways to expand their reach and will look aggressively toward "enterprise applications (ERP/CRM), remote-access solutions (RAS, VPN), wide-area networking (WANs), VoIP, networked storage (SAN/NAS), intranets, and managed security solutions."
 
And, says the study, an increasingly important strategic focus is expanding network connectivity to branch offices & other remote locations. For more, check out this release [1]
