Jonathan Zarkower
Jonathan Zarkower came to Oracle via its 2013 acquisition of Acme Packet. With twenty-five years of communications industry experience, Zarkower has significant knowledge and expertise in a broad range of communications products, technologies and architectures related to IP services and networking. Zarkower has held leadership roles in product management and product marketing, as well as sales and sales engineering at leading suppliers including Acme Packet, Wellfleet/Bay Networks, Nortel Networks and Lucent Technologies as well as a number of successful startups. Co-author of the book "Virtual Private Networking – a View from the Trenches," Zarkower has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.
Douglas Tait
Setting the telecommunications marketing strategy for Oracle and the industry, Mr. Tait is defining and building out the Service/Application infrastructure for Next Generation Networks. As Global Director of Marketing for Telecommunications, Mr. Tait is driving the strategy and tactics for Service Delivery Platforms, Policy, Service Brokering, and IP integration. Prior to Oracle, Mr. Tait was the director for Global Telecom Markets at BEA and founded the JAIN initiative defining Java™ technology for communications at Sun. He organized international standards, community, and user group meetings for creating standards and driving the communications market toward standard based interfaces, platforms, and protocols.
