SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aurora Networks Inc. will address several of the industry’s most pressing residential issues at the upcoming SCTE Canadian Summit 2011 taking place March 8-9 in the Toronto Congress Centre-South Building. Aurora Networks at SCTE Canadian Summit 2011

Aurora Networks is one of only five companies to demonstrate its solutions during the summit’s annual Technology Challenge, which showcases the industry’s most innovative products. Aurora Networks will demonstrate how its Light-Plex™ and AT3545G series DWDM full-spectrum transmitters eliminate truck rolls as operators prepare their channel lineups for the imminent rollout of the CMAP initiative. The demonstration showcases how Aurora Networks’ technologies facilitate fast deployments of next-generation services, while at the same time reducing operating expenses.

Also during the summit, Aurora Networks’ Chief Technology Officer, Oleh Sniezko, will present the paper titled “RFoG: Matching and Exceeding HFC and PON Performance and Capacity,” sharing the company’s expertise and how it relates to the session’s focus on the benefits of advanced designs and the operational realities associated with deploying optical nodes to every home. Aurora Networks is known for pioneering “next-generation RFoG” through its VHub™ technology.
