NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Bull & Lifshitz, LLP announces an investigation into possible breaches of fiduciary duty in connection with the proposed merger of Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q - News) (referred to as "Qwest" or the “Company”) and CenturyLink (CenturyTel, Inc., NYSE: CTL - News) (referred to as “CenturyLink”).
Under the terms of the agreement, which has been approved by the Boards of Directors of both companies, Qwest shareholders will receive 0.1664 shares of CenturyLink stock for each share of Qwest that they own. Based on the closing stock price of CenturyLink on April 21, 2010, the per share consideration to be received by Qwest shareholders would be equivalent to $6.02 of CenturyLink stock.
