CTIA Elects Openwave’s Mike Mulica to Board of Directors

(Nasdaq: OPWV), a global software innovator delivering all-Internet Protocol (all-IP) mediation and messaging solutions, today announced that its newly appointed CEO, Mike Mulica, has been elected to the CTIA (Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association) board of directors to represent the ‘Other Supplier’ category, effective January 2012. Over the years, Openwave has played a vital part in helping set CTIA’s strategic leadership direction on several key issues and initiatives.
