CWA Members, Retirees to Rally at Verizon Annual Meeting on May 6

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Members of the Communications Workers of America will leaflet outside the Verizon annual meeting on Thurs., May 6, then go inside to ask the Verizon board and executives about the company’s commitment to quality service and the continued buildout of high speed broadband networks, especially for rural communities.

CWA also will release a new report on the proposed Verizon-Frontier deal and how it will adversely affect West Virginia and 13 other states involved in the sale of landlines to Frontier Communications.
