PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CWA President Larry Cohen will be on the picket line tomorrow, Aug. 12, with striking Verizon workers. With Cohen will be CWA District 2-13 Vice President Ed Mooney.

     
What: Picketline outside Verizon operations
 

When and Where:

Beginning at 10 a.m., at 900 Race Streets, Philadelphia
 
Why: 45,000 workers are on strike at Verizon against the company’s demands for $1 billion in concessions that would push these workers out of the middle class.
