WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Members of the Communications Workers of America will be in Washington, D.C., for CWA’s joint convention/legislative-political conference, July 26-July 29. Sessions will be held in the ballroom at the Washington Hilton Hotel, 1919 Connecticut Ave., N.W.

Monday highlights include remarks by Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski and Mark Pearce, member, National Labor Relations Board.

Tuesday highlights include remarks by Ado Wilhelm and Kornelia Dubbel of ver.di, the German union working with CWA to support bargaining rights for workers at T-Mobile USA.

Wednesday highlights include remarks by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (at 8 am) and Benjamin Jealous, president and CEO of the NAACP.
