Damaged AT&T Fiber Causes Internet Outage for Cobridge Customers in Marshall, Texas

MARSHALL, Texas, May 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- On Monday night around 10:30pm, an AT&T fiber-optic cable which transports internet service for Cobridge Communications and several of Marshall's other internet providers was cut, disrupting service to both commercial and residential customers.

AT&T has been working to repair the cable but has not been able to meet its repair timelines that were communicated to Cobridge engineering and operations teams.

Cobridge will be issuing credits to all internet customers for the time that they have lost service.
