Eltek Valere Names Roel Cortez as Director of Sales and General Manager of Mexico and Central American Regions

Industry Veteran Rejoins Eltek Valere Team, Bringing 27 Years International and Domestic Experience in Telecom, Utility and Industrial Markets

RICHARDSON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Eltek Valere today announced it has named Roel Cortez as the company’s new Director of Sales and General Manager for Mexico and Central American regions. Cortez will also be responsible for managing Eltek Valere’s offices in Mexico.

As an industry veteran in the telecom, utility and industrial markets, Cortez brings 27 years of international and domestic leadership experience including strategic marketing, product and business development and sales force operations. Prior to joining Eltek Valere, Cortez served as director of sales for Exide Technologies, overseeing the company’s operations in Mexico and Central America.

Cortez had been a part of Eltek Valere in 2006 (then Valere Power), and accredits the new management team as the primary reason for his return.
