CEO and Vice President of Corporate Development to speak at the largest conference dedicated to next-generation wireless technologies

OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- KeyOn Communications Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: KEYO) (http://www.keyon.com), one of the largest providers of wireless broadband, satellite video and voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) services in the United States, announced today that both its Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Snyder, and its Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel, Jason Lazar, will join other industry leaders in panel discussions at the 4G World™ conference, October 18 through 21 in Chicago, IL. 4G World™ is the largest event in the world covering the entire ecosystem of next-generation technologies that enable the mobile Internet revolution.

Drawing on his position as Chairman of the Wireless Communications Association International’s (WCAI) 3.65 GHz working group, on October 18, Mr. Lazar will participate in a panel discussing the merits of using the 3.65 GHz spectrum band for broadband deployments in rural markets. On July 22, 2010, KeyOn and Alvarion Ltd, the world’s leading provider of 4G networks for Broadband Wireless Access (BWA), announced the deployment of a next-generation, 4G wireless network in the 3.65 GHz spectrum band in Southern Nevada.

Also, on October 19, Mr. Lazar will participate on a panel regarding 4G networks for rural/underserved markets in the US. Having commenced operations eight years ago, KeyOn has been a pioneer of bringing broadband services to rural markets using wireless technologies and will continue to extend next-generation broadband availability to rural markets throughout the US. After the completion of ten acquisitions, KeyOn’s footprint currently covers twelve states and more than 2,800,000 people.

Finally, on October 19, Mr. Snyder joins Jonathan Spalter of Mobile Future, former FCC Chairman Kevin Martin now with Patton Boggs, Bob Quinn of AT&T, and Paul Sinderbrand of Wilkinson Barker Knauer for a discussion on implementing the national broadband plan released by the Federal Communications Commission in March 2010.

Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Snyder stated, “With the introduction of the National Broadband Plan and the current administration’s dedication to advanced broadband infrastructure, it is an ideal time to be a seasoned company in the wireless industry. We appreciate the opportunity to participate in this important conference and look forward to being able to discuss the importance of 4G wireless in extending the reach and functionality of broadband in rural markets, as well as to collaborate with significant players in our industry.”

Additional companies featured alongside KeyOn at the 4G World conference include industry heavyweights Clearwire, Sprint, Verizon, Motorola, Qualcomm, Cisco, and more. For more information visit the official 4G World web site: http://4gworld.com/.
