SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Nexaira Wireless Inc. (“Nexaira”) (OTCBB: NXWI), a progressive and innovative developer of 3G and 4G firmware and hardware routing solutions, announced today that MegaPath Inc., the leading provider of managed IP data, voice and security services in North America, has selected the Nexaira Business Class II (BCII) reliable and secure 3G/4G router as one of the customer premise routers to deliver MegaPath’s nationwide Wireless Broadband Service.

Nexaira’s BCII will enable MegaPath’s innovative Wireless Broadband Service to deliver always-on high-speed wireless broadband connectivity with secure Internet and corporate Virtual Private Network (VPN) access for its business customers. The MegaPath wireless service is ideal as a fully-redundant backup to an existing T1, DSL or cable service, as a primary connection for remote locations that are unable to receive traditional wireline broadband, or as quick start temporary solution for customers waiting for installation of a primary wireline connection.

“Wireless Broadband Service is a smart investment as a backup for wireline service for businesses of any size to prevent lost productivity and revenue from possible wireline interruption or failure,” said D. Craig Young, CEO of MegaPath. “By integrating a wireless service into our suite of broadband communication solutions, we are also able to offer businesses without wireline access a premium solution for high-speed Internet and VPN connectivity.”

Nexaira’s BCII provides high availability, redundancy and advanced network management functionality currently unrivaled in the wireless routing market. “MegaPath selected the BCII router for its ability to interface seamlessly via Command Line Interface (CLI) with MegaPath’s centralized wireline management network as well as support Open Mobile Alliance - Device Management (OMA-DM) automated firmware updates for the cellular modem” shared Sekar Swaminathan Vice President of Network Engineering for Megapath.

“MegaPath’s Wireless Broadband Service featuring the BCII router allows MegaPath to provide customers managed services over cellular broadband network” said Rusty Wright, Vice President of Product Development for Nexaira. “The BCII router offers MegaPath a powerful solution for integrating wireless broadband into enterprise networks, uniquely bridging the gap between wireless carrier networks and the enterprise’s need for security and redundancy.”

Nexaira’s BCII router is establishing itself as a leader in 3G/4G data card support, ensuring compatibility and service from the leading cellular carriers and/or DSL, cable or T1 network providers. The router features Nexaira’s industry acclaimed i3 GUI (Graphical User Interface) for fast and simple configurations, as well as integrated NexWare, offering customizable Auto-Failover and Anti-Flap features that provide network stability and continuity for existing wireline connections with a seamless failover to cellular networks.
