Microsoft® Channel Partners Announce Launch of New Association to Foster Business Development
MPOWR designed to enhance partner-to-partner collaboration for business growth

A group of Microsoft® channel partners has announced the launch of MPOWR (Microsoft Partners for One World of Results), a new community for business development leaders within companies belonging to the Microsoft Partner Network. The worldwide organization will provide tools to help Microsoft partners build their businesses through stronger peer-to-peer networking and knowledge sharing.
“Partner-to-partner collaboration is a proven strategy for business growth, and we’re excited to offer a robust set of tools to help partners build a strong, independent worldwide community focused on this critical business function,” said Bill Luisi, a member of the MPOWR Founders’ Committee. “Microsoft partners already receive lots of essential support from Microsoft and elsewhere, but we see MPOWR as the place where partners will be best able to tap into each other’s real-world knowledge to help them grow their businesses.”
MPOWR launches on November 11, 2010 with two key offerings. The web portal (www.mpowercommunity.org) will provide tools for partners to network, share business leads, and collaborate through member-driven Special Interest Groups addressing topics of interest. The organization will also launch MPOWRment, the digital magazine of MPOWR, with content focused specifically on Microsoft partner success strategies in the highly changeable IT channel. MPOWR membership is free to active members, and any employee of a Microsoft partner company can sign up for their first year of free membership via the web portal.
