The AXIANS Carrier & Service Provider Days, held September 15-16 in Dusseldorf, Germany, is an established networking platform for alternative carrier and service providers. Industry experts are invited to share their insight and visions for the future, and Ezra Mizrahi, Director of Technical Marketing for MRV OCS, will lead a discussion on Ethernet-based mobile backhaul to explore the latest innovations and market evolutions. The session is scheduled for Thursday, September 15 at 2:30 pm.

The Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF), the global industry organization at the forefront of Carrier Ethernet services definition and development, will be hosting service providers and enterprises at the MEF Carrier Ethernet and Business Services Seminars on Tuesday, September 20 in Mexico City, and on Thursday, September 22 in Guatemala City. The seminars showcase the latest global and regional Ethernet trends and technologies and how to generate new services at reduced implementation costs. At each seminar, Mannix O’Connor, Director of Technical Marketing for MRV OCS, will lead a “Carrier Ethernet Tutorial” and discuss how the MEF defines key elements of Carrier Ethernet interconnect, service management, mobile backhaul and access technologies in an afternoon session for service providers.
