NCTA Announces Finalists for 2011 Tech Executive of the Year
Executives from SAS, Geomagic, goodmortgage.com, ChannelAdvisor compete for prestigious award
RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The title of North Carolina’s 2011 Tech Executive of the Year is once again up for grabs as the North Carolina Technology Association announced today this year’s four finalists for the prestigious award, sponsored by NYSE Euronext. The winner will be selected by popular vote through the NCTA web site and will be recognized at the annual NCTA 21 Awards Gala, presented in conjunction with title sponsor Grant Thornton, on Thursday, Nov. 10 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham, N.C. Last year’s event drew record-breaking attendance of more than 800 technology executives from around the state. Voting for the Tech Executive of the Year is open to the public and will run through October 15.
Finalists for the 2011 Tech Executive of the Year include:
- Keith Collins, SAS: As senior vice president and CTO at SAS, Keith Collins has been instrumental in leading SAS’ evolution as a provider of industry-specific solutions that deliver the benefits of powerful analytic technologies in the hands of users.
- Ping Fu, Geomagic: Honored by Inc. Magazine as “The Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2005, Ping Fu co-founded Geomagic, a leading U.S. software company that pioneers 3D technologies that fundamentally change the way products are designed and manufactured around the world.
- Keith Luedeman, goodmortgage.com: Keith Luedeman founded goodmortgage.com in 1999 and has built a thriving lending leader whose presence is felt throughout the loan industry.
- Scot Wingo, ChannelAdvisor: As CEO and co-founder of ChannelAdvisor, Scot Wingo leads the company in its mission to help retailers successfully sell across multiple channels with its software-as-a-service solution.
