LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Global businesses now have access to a clear and detailed vision of their global networks following the launch of Easynet Global Services‘ latest suite of Network Performance Management solutions. Offered in conjunction with Ipanema, the solutions enable CIOs to gain efficiencies by ensuring that network consolidation and centralisation leads to an enhanced end-user experience. These solutions have been launched in response to specific customer requirements identified at Easynet’s Customer Advisory Boards1.

Easynet customer The Van Ameyde Group will soon be seeing the benefits of the Ipanema partnership. The Van Ameyde Group provides major international insurance companies, captives, brokers and fleet owners with a comprehensive solution for domestic and international claims. For Van Ameyde, Easynet is implementing a fully managed global MPLS network. The organisation required an in-depth understanding of the business application performance across its Wide Area Network. The decision to adopt Easynet’s Application Performance Optimiser solution will enable the organisation to maintain a centralised data centre infrastructure and gain efficient control of its data, security and costs.

The three components of the Application Performance platform (Optimiser, Controller and Reporter) can be used by Easynet’s MPLS customers to ensure that applications running over a centralised Wide Area Network are fully secure and have guaranteed network performance and user experience, this being achieved through deeper network visibility, control and optimisation.

The Application Performance products are ideal for growing global organisations such as The Van Ameyde Group as they remove the need for server infrastructure locally, so local IT support is minimised, costs are optimised, and standardisation is easier to achieve. They also ensure the customer has full visibility of application traffic, to enable them to choose the appropriate access type for any new sites and optimise the existing access circuits.

Justin Fielder, chief planning and technology officer for Easynet Global Services said, “The message from our Customer Advisory Boards was loud and clear: our customers need to achieve more, with less, and needed to address the experience that centralised applications can sometimes perform poorly. That means squeezing efficiencies from the network, consolidating IT infrastructure and maximising application performance to gain a competitive edge. Our new products enable our customers to do exactly that”.

Jean-François Rousseau, Vice President Service Provider Business Development for Ipanema Technologies added: "Easynet customers now have a range of options to help them maximise the return on their WAN investment. These new services will not only allow IS infrastructure consolidation but will also enable customers to provide their end-users with a defined and measurable quality of experience and allow for much simpler IS & network change management. The choice of Ipanema by Easynet is a great endorsement of our service platform for service providers."

1 Easynet holds regular local and global Customer Advisory Boards in which groups of Easynet Global Services’ customers discuss and feedback on Easynet’s strategic business plans.
