The North Carolina Technology Association Opens Nominations for the 2010 NCTA “0021” Awards
Prestigious Awards Honor Innovation and Excellence in North Carolina Technology
RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA), the primary voice of the technology industry in North Carolina, announced today a call for nominations for the 2010 NCTA “0021” Awards. Winners will be recognized at the annual awards gala, presented in conjunction with title sponsor Grant Thornton, on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham, N.C. The theme for this year’s event is “A License to Excel” and more than 500 business and technology leaders from across the state are expected to be in attendance.
“North Carolina’s technology companies have continued to grow and innovate this year, demonstrating excellence despite ongoing economic troubles,” said Brooks Raiford, NCTA’s president and CEO. “There are so many technology companies in our state worthy of recognition and we hope to see all these companies represented in the nominations.”
The NCTA 21 Awards are grouped in four categories: Technology Industry, Excellence, Stage of Development and Leadership. Additionally, the 2010 21 Awards will once again recognize a “Technology Executive of the Year,” which will be decided by popular vote through NCTA’s web site.
