PerfTech Adds IPv6 While Maintaining Full Capacity in New Bulletin System

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- PerfTech, the leading supplier of in-browser subscriber communications for Internet Service Providers (ISPs), has added support for IPv6 across its Bulletin System product lines, which now support both IPv4 and IPv6 for subscriber traffic, as well as for management communication between its own devices and other ISP infrastructure. The development effort included expanding mechanisms to efficiently handle the multiplicity of IPv6 addressing without penalizing the performance or capacity of its devices, a strategy that maintains a small, cost-effective footprint for ISP customers. Bulletin Directors each will continue to support 2M subscriber accounts and their networked devices, even when dual stacks and delegated subnets are used. Multiple Bulletin Directors may be stacked for scalability, accommodating even extremely large broadband networks. IPv6 testing is available on an ongoing basis to ISP customers.
