ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Speedemissions, Inc. (OTC Bulletin board: SPMI – News); a leading vehicle emissions testing and safety inspection company with stores in Atlanta, Houston, St. Louis and Salt Lake City is finding another way to further improve its customer loyalty.

Speedemissions announced today they are now on the social networking sites Facebook and Twitter. The Company believes in the opportunity Facebook and Twitter bring about in connecting and communicating with customers and employees in a new, socially interactive way. In addition, it supports the Company’s long term plan of using technology (CARbonga, the first iPhone app to inform the driver about auto safety through manufacturer’s safety recalls and technical service bulletins, was step one), as a means to expand its customer base beyond the basics of emission testing and safety inspection. Thus, the result should be higher store level economics.

“Facebook and Twitter are the perfect platforms to enhance and tailor content to what our consumers want and need and how they use information. Through these social media sites, Speedemissions will feature store information, promotions, specials, CARbonga (www.CARbonga.com), news, surveys, manager profiles, employment opportunities and much more.

“We look forward to the continued evolutions in technology and social media and possibilities they bring to better serve our customers in new and innovative ways,” said Rich Parlontieri, President/CEO of Speedemissions.
