MEDFORD, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- StreamingMedia.com, a leading producer of news, information and events dedicated to the business, technology and content of online video, today announced that its upcoming annual Streaming Media West Exhibition and Conference will include a special panel session titled “Digital Entertainment Standards.” The session will focus on the Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem’s (DECE) UltraViolet™ and how standardizing digital content can provide a broad array of benefits, from improving cost and storage efficiencies to increasing consumer choice and fostering innovation. It is being presented by the DECE, a coalition supported by industries involved in digital entertainment.

The “Digital Entertainment Standards” session will convene on Wednesday, November 3 at 10:30 a.m and will include executives from several DECE member companies: Timothy Dodd, VP, Media and Entertainment, Neustar; Paul Fahn, Digital Media Convergence Technology, Samsung; Leszek Izdebski, managing director, Global Media Group, Cisco Internet Business Solutions; and Mark Teitell, executive director, Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem (DECE).
