Addition to Executive Management Team Reflects Sunrise Telecom’s Increased Focus on Carrier Ethernet Test and Verification Solutions

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- LIGHT READING ETHERNET EUROPE - - Sunrise Telecom^® Incorporated (Pink Sheets: SRTI) today announced it has hired Craig Easley as vice president of marketing, responsible for worldwide marketing and reporting to Bahaa Moukadam, Sunrise Telecom chief executive officer.

Easley is one of the recognized leaders of the Carrier Ethernet industry. He has served on the board of directors of the Metro Ethernet Forum for the past seven years as a representative of some of the leading providers of Carrier Ethernet equipment and technology. Sunrise Telecom’s addition of a Carrier Ethernet industry pioneer reflects the company’s increased focus on the Ethernet market, which continues to see explosive growth, especially in segments such as mobile backhaul.

Easley has led the product marketing and product management efforts for a number of Carrier Ethernet equipment vendors, including Nortel Networks and Extreme Networks. He recently founded the Carrier Ethernet Academy, a technical training company that focuses on Carrier Ethernet technology and the work of the Metro Ethernet Forum. Sunrise Telecom plans to leverage this experience to increase the Carrier Ethernet knowledge of its employees, partners and customers.
