Subcontractor Telos to Perform Work Awarded to Dell under ITES-2S

ASHBURN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Telos® Corporation will conduct site surveys, design secure Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) and install Local Area Network cabling and network drops for ten large logistics centers operated by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

The task order, awarded to Dell under the Army’s Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – 2 Services (ITES-2S) IDIQ contract, supports a plan for an enterprise-wide 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN. Telos will design an architecture model that fully supports DLA’s current and projected expansion and scalability requirements.

“Our wireless network infrastructure designs offer sufficient flexibility to respond to changes in technology,” said Telos Sr. Vice President of Secure Networks Brendan Malloy, “while maintaining consistency across the network and integrating legacy devices.”

“We selected Telos to perform this work for DLA because of the company’s proven track record installing secure WLANs at over 200 military bases and other DoD locations,” said Sales Director, Dell Services Federal Government, Defense and National Security Division John Booze. “Drawing on more than fifteen years of success designing and building secure wireless networks, Telos has the expertise to architect the quality solution DLA requires.”

Telos past performance includes building robust and secure WLAN solutions in challenging indoor/outdoor locations with numerous signal obstructions. The company has built a reputation for maximizing customer return on investment by automating processes and methodologies; DLA will benefit from use of the Company’s proprietary application for efficient, cost effective and timely site survey, data collection and network design.

The project is scheduled to be completed within twelve months.
