New contract provides IT, Networking, Closed Circuit Television, and Video Teleconference support in Afghanistan

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Trace Systems Inc., a McLean, Va. based systems integrator and technical services firm that provides comprehensive communications, networking, information technology (IT) and information assurance (IA) services and solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and other U.S. Government customers, today announced that it has won a prime contract to support Task Force Protector with IT, Networking, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), and Video Teleconference (VTC) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Afghanistan.

Awarded after a full and open competition by the Bagram Regional Contracting Center, the five year contract will provide IT SMEs to augment military personnel in support of a new facility located at Camp Sabalu in Parwan, Afghanistan as well as Task Force Protector Headquarters. “We are pleased to be supporting this important mission at Camp Sabalu, and have already mobilized our personnel under the new contract,” said Ben Dougan, Operations Director for Trace Systems. “The personnel we are deploying in support of this new customer bring years of CCTV, VTC, and IT expertise that will be needed to address the requirements within the new facility,” continued Dougan.
