Well-known Industry Duo Team Together Again to Accelerate Trilogy's Growth in the Critical Telecom and Technology Vertical
AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Trilogy Software today announced the appointments of Richard Ellenberger to the role of Managing Director, Trilogy Telecom, Technology, and Media (TTM) Division, and Ian Dix, to the role of Senior Vice President, Market Management and Development, also for the new Trilogy TTM division.
Mr. Ellenberger is among the most widely known and respected executives in the telecommunications industry, having served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cincinnati Bell and Broadwing, as well as President of MCI Business Markets. As CEO, Mr. Ellenberger also led the successful IPO for XLConnect, a software integrator later sold to Xerox Corporation.
Mr. Dix is also a well-known marketing veteran of the telecom industry, having served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Broadwing, and as Senior Vice President of Product Marketing and Management for both Qwest and LCI International. Mr. Dix also served as Chief Marketing Officer of security software provider SafeNet, and spent over 10 years in MCI's product marketing and management ranks.
The team of Ellenberger and Dix are reunited for a fourth time, having achieved considerable success in MCI's Business Markets division, in the growth and public offering of XLConnect, and in the merger of IXC and Cincinnati Bell to launch Broadwing.
