CORONA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Volt Telecommunications Group, Inc., a leading full-service turnkey solutions provider for telecommunications, information transport systems and water infrastructure, announced today it has achieved TL 9000 certification company-wide for all of its services. This achievement demonstrates the company’s commitment to continuous quality improvement which began in 1994 when the company achieved its first ISO 9000-series certification. Today Volt Telecom Group is both TL 9000 and ISO 9001:2008 certified.

“The TL 9000 certification crowns our previous ISO 9000-series certifications, emphasizing our commitment to maintain a proven and effective Quality Management System (QMS),” said Chuck Scott, Chief Operating Officer, Volt Telecom Group. “Our customers can continue to be confident in our ability to deliver quality, reliable service, performance accountability, continuing efficiency and superior customer relationships as encouraged through the TL 9000 QMS.”

TL 9000 enhances the ISO 9000 series of international standards by incorporating more stringent QMS requirements specific to the telecommunications industry set forth by the QuEST Forum in 1998. QuEST Forum advances the quality, reliability, and performance of telecom products and services worldwide through the implementation of a common set of quality requirements, an emphasis on industry best practices, the delivery of a leading-edge measurement system and the collaborative activities of its global workgroups, of which Volt Telecom Group is also a participating member.

“Key to our TL 9000 certification is the commitment of everyone in our company, from senior management to our employees working on the job sites, to not just deliver quality work on-time and on-budget, but to continually look at ways to improve our processes and customer deliverables,” continued Scott. “Our TL 9000 QMS sets the baseline, not the objective, of our service deliverables.”
