Revenues up 90% on same period as last year and 50% Year on Year Growth

BERLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SOA and Cloud Symposium 2010: Vordel, a provider of fast, safe, connectivity for SOA and Cloud services, today announced revenue results for Q3 2010. This quarter has proved to be the most successful in the history of the company with a 90% increase on the same period last year. The year-on-year growth to date is over 50%.

In Q3 2010, Vordel continued to drive sales in North America, EMEA and Asia with significant customer wins in multiple sectors including Automotive, Health Insurance, Government, Pharmaceutical, Financial Services and Telecoms. These enterprises selected Vordel's Gateway and Cloud Service Broker to increase performance, strengthen security and enhance interoperability in SOA and Cloud deployments. Additionally, these organizations are leveraging Vordel's unique management capability to govern service usage and enable the efficient running of applications in SOA or Cloud architectures. Also in Q3 2010, Vordel announced the availability of version 6.0 of its market leading Vordel Gateway. Vordel 6 improves the control of SOA services, cutting through the complexity and scale of SOA deployments. Ease of use is key, with policies applied to services using Web drag-and-drop. Support is added for key infrastructure such as Oracle Entitlements Server. These advances improve the overall productivity of engineering and architecture teams and reduce costs.

Additionally, at VMworld 2010, the company announced that its Vordel Cloud Service Broker is the first product of its kind to provide management for the VMware vCloud™ Director. VMware vCloud Director enables enterprises to manage a hybrid environment of their own datacenters and multiple Cloud service providers. Vordel with VMware vCloud Director enables enterprises to obtain the same level of control and visibility of their cloud infrastructure as they have of on-premises infrastructure.

To service continued global sales and support, Vordel has expanded its global team. Recent additions include Arne Boettcher, Director of Sales, Vordel, responsible for overseeing sales within the German, Austrian and Swiss regions. Boettcher joins Vordel from Oracle. Additionally, Herve Aubin recently joined the company and is Director of Sales for Southern Europe. Aubin manages the company’s office in Paris, France. Aubin previously worked with CA, Mainsoft and Parasoft.

Additionally, to further support its growing global customer base the company recently opened new offices in Duesseldorf, Germany and Boston, MA, USA. These global offices complement Vordel’s existing offices located in Washington D.C., USA; London, UK; Paris, France and Dublin, Ireland.
