YES Network Gaining National Appeal in the U.S. with SES
Extends capacity agreement to build on momentum across the U.S.
PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SES WORLD SKIES, a division of SES S.A. (Paris:SESG) (LuxX:SESG), today announced a new capacity deal with the YES Network in the U.S., the nation’s premier regional sports network and the television home of the 27-time World Champion New York Yankees and the New Jersey Nets.
As part of the multi-year agreement, YES Network is now using a full transponder of C-band capacity aboard SES WORLD SKIES’ AMC-1 satellite to deliver its Emmy Award-winning programming to customers within its regional footprint and throughout the country. The most-watched regional sports network in the country the past eight years according to Nielsen, YES also televises a full complement of critically acclaimed studio, interview and magazine shows.
