Time Warner Cable, which is nearing a separation from its corporate parent Time Warner, reported third quarter earnings that showed 21 percent profit growth from strong jumps in broadband Internet and voice telephony segments. Quarterly profit was $301 million, versus $248 million for the same period last year. Voice revenue leaped 37 percent to $421 million, as TWC added about 200,000 telephony customers. High-speed data revenue increased 12 percent to $1.06 billion, with subscriber additions running about 214,000.
