2011 Women in Wireline
Welcome to our second annual Women in Wireline feature. Similar to last year's debut feature, FierceTelecom's editors celebrate the diversity and recognize important women figures in the wireline segment of the telecom industry.
So how did we come up with the 2011 Women in Wireline list? This year's selection of the industry's movers and shakers was based on the nominees' ability to develop innovative new wireline services, drive technology innovation, and conduct complex company integration exercises.
FierceTelecom also based its selections on our interaction with members of the wireline industry segment, observations and reader input.
Now that Women in Wireless has become an annual feature of FierceTelecom that will choose different women in the wireline industry to honor, please check out our 2010 list to see past honorees. Of course, I encourage you to slide over to my colleagues at FierceWireless to look at their fourth annual Women in Wireless feature. Take a look at their honorees by clicking here.
As always, I'd love to hear your feedback on the list and if there's any other women in the wireline industry segment that deserves to be recognized for her talents and industry influence.--Sean
