360networks takes VoIP footprint into Northern Cal.

Wholesale carrier 360networks has expanded its IP fortunes into Northern California.

Adding coverage of 7.2 million people from 126 rate centers, 360networks will reach from Eureka through San Francisco and down to Santa Cruz. 360networks, which sells VoIP, private line and traditional T1 services, now covers 1,441 rate centers and 68 million people throughout the Western U.S.

Rick Coma, senior vice president of 360networks, said that the latest expansion will help its wholesale customers "penetrate and better compete in the lucrative northern California market."
