AT&T sets goal to reduce carbon emissions by 10 times of footprint in 2025

AT&T (NYSE: T) is addressing the environmental impacts of its network by setting a goal to enable carbon savings 10 times the footprint of its operations by 2025.

To achieve carbon savings, AT&T said it will engage with customers, companies and non-governmental organizations on tactics to drive reductions in emissions and increases in resource efficiency. The new carbon emissions reductions program is part of Connect to Good -- AT&T's 10-year citizenship and sustainability platform.
