Bell Canada launches online video store

The shaky debt market environment may have put Bell Canada's future ownership in doubt, but the carrier continues to push ahead on the new service front. Bell Canada is now the first carrier in Canada to offer video downloads for sale and for rent from its own online store. Using technology from ExtendMedia, the company is offering 1,500 movies and TV show for download from its Bell Video Store. Videos to own start at $4.99, and rentals start at $1.99.
