Broadband and voice help cable operators soothe video loss pains

During Q2 2011, three of the largest cable operators all added more broadband subscribers to their fold: Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) picked up 144,000 cable modem customers during Q2, while Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) added 54,000, Charter (Nasdaq: CHTR) added 18,500 and Cablevision (NYSE: CVC) signed 5,000 Optimum Online subscribers.
