BT launches sustainability as service

U.K.telco giant BT has turned its own corporate strategy to reduce carbon dioxide emission into an environmental sustainability audit service for its corporate customers. The audit process is based on a questionnaire that BT developed in-house, and it's intended to produce a series of environmentally progressive recommendations that its customers can act on.

Environmental sustainability still isn't high on the list of priorities for many corporations, or specifically many telcos. But, BT has reduced its own carbon dioxide emissions by 60 percent in the last 11 years, and now it's making it easier for more companies to do the same.
