Cisco's Warrior tackles new priorities

Padmasree Warrior has now been CTO at Cisco Systems for several months, after departing from a stumbling Motorola late last year. Cisco is a different kind of company, of course, not only in terms of technologies, but also in its highly-aggressive, pointed marketing philosophy and tactics. Warrior now claims to be overseeing as many as 22 technology priority areas at Cisco. In an interview with Network World, she sizes up Cisco's technology segments, including visual networking and collaboration.
