Cord cutters are happy with online video, but pay-TV providers are holding their own

Newly released reports from comScore and nScreen Media reveal that the online video viewing community continues to grow, with many users happy with their decision to cut the cord from their pay-TV provider. In an nScreen Media poll, 87 percent of participants said they were at least somewhat happy with their decision, and 37 percent said they would never go back to pay TV. Despite the movement to online video, the top 13 pay-TV operators continue to show signs of life, adding 260,000 video subscribers in the first quarter of 2014, up from 230,000 during the same period last year.
