Cox Business enhances its data center reach

Already well-entrenched in the large and medium-sized enterprise services market, Cox Business now has extended its fiber network into i/o Data Centers' Phoenix One collocation facility. Cox Business has brought dual-fiber entries into the building, supported by redundant network switching centers.

By bringing fiber to this facility--one that includes 530,000 square feet of data center space for businesses to house their networking equipment--Cox Business can can tap into various business service opportunities. Cox Business' existing customers that want to extend their presence in Phoenix can now simply extend existing their WAN to this center. Also, Cox could attract new customers that want to house their equipment at the center as either the primary or backup business continuity provider.
