Dycom sees potential revenue opportunities in CAF-II builds

While AT&T (NYSE: T), Frontier, Windstream and other telcos have accepted funds from the second phase of the FCC's Connect America Fund (CAF-II), the network builds won't start really getting underway until early next year, but when they do move forward Dycom is ready to be a big part of those projects.

Dycom, which provides construction and maintenance services to the large telcos, said it is poised to win a number of construction services contracts once projects get underway in 2016. However, it does not expect to see it have a material effect on its guidance since many of its telecom customers are still in the planning stage of building out network facilities covered under the CAF-II program.
