Eagle eyes Houston network sale

Eagle Broadband is looking to sell its Houston area fiber network, following the shutdown of Optical Entertainment Network, the FTTH provider that had been leasing its network. OEN actually had tried to acquire Eagle Broadband's network earlier this year, but was kept from doing so by a tax dispute it had with the state of Texas. SureWest Communications, a Roseville, Calif. independent telco recently said it was in the market for acquisitions, though its hasn't publicly shown interest in OEN or Eagle Broadband. Are there any other telcos that might have financing or interest in going such a deal?
