Ex-Motorola exec Nottenburg takes over at Sonus
Last week, Richard Nottenburg, chief strategy officer at Motorola, became the latest executive to depart the struggling vendor giant, but Nottenburg had a new destination in mind. This week, he was named CEO of IP gear specialist Sonus Networks. He will replace long-time chief Hassan Ahmed, who relinquishes the CEO title, but will remain chairman of Sonus. Just last week, Sonus was picked by India's Tata Communications to help expand the carrier's global network.
