Feds charge three in Comcast traffic diversion scheme

If you're going to play with our site, we will find you, says Comcast. This week, federal prosecutors have charged three men for diverting traffic off of Comcast's consumer website Comcast.net.

While the suspects' names were not revealed federal prosecutors last Thursday arrested a 19-year old from Newark, Del., a 20-year old from Tumwater, Wash., and a 27-year-old from Kalamazoo, Mich. for apparently interrupting the comcast.net site on May 28, 2008. By diverting traffic from Comcast to a site they oversaw, it cost Comcast over $128,000.
