FiberMedia launches new agent and reseller program
FiberMedia, a data center provider focused on the New York metro and Cleveland markets, on Wednesday introduced Project Velocity, a program targeting the agent and reseller communities.
The data center provider's move to target these two communities comes just after it received a Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) 16 certification last month and in the midst of growing demand for its data center and managed service products.
FiberMedia said that Project Velocity, which will run through the end of this year, has been extended to the existing agent and reseller communities and is now also available to new agents and resellers.
Extending itself to the reseller channel makes sense for FiberMedia on a number of levels.
For one, it will enable them to reach a broader set of customers that are looking to offload nonessential functions like email to a third party, or more sensitive applications to a third party's cloud. And since many of these resellers have deep client relationships, they can immediately extend FiberMedia as an option that has data centers, cloud and managed services.
