Home networking: Entropic acquires Vativ

Home networking semiconductor firm Entropic Communications has acquired Vativ Technologies, a developer of high-definition digital signal processing semiconductors for multimedia applications. The deal is a small one, for just $5.9 million in cash, which I'm sure is just pocket change for some of our readers. However, it comes at a time when activity in the home networking market is hitting new heights.
