Infonetics: Corporate voice budgets remain healthy

Infonetics Research says results of a survey conducted in April and May indicate that North American companies may not be slashing voice communications spending, at least not dramatically, over the short-term in response to economic uncertainty. A press release announcing the survey results says many companies eventually do want to shrink voice service spending, though "they're willing to invest in new infrastructure and applications if it contains or reduces (the budget for) communication services," according to Matthias Machowinski, directing analyst, enterprise voice and data, Infonetics Research.
