Juniper junks app acceleration products

Juniper Networks is discontinuing its DX line of application acceleration products that it acquired as part of its purchase of Redline Networks (not to be confused with WiMAX firm Redline Communications). The company hasn't offered many further details, but Juniper was said to be having a tough time in a tightly competitive market segment since it acquired Redline in 2005 for about $132 million.
