Juniper offers automated enterprise help service
Juniper Networks has developed a new automated diagnostic and repair service for enterprise customers called Advanced Insight Service. The offering uses capabilities in the vendor's JUNOS operating system and a new gateway applications to discover problems and tap into device data logs. The devices themselves can upload information pertinent to solving the problem. Analysts says the capabilities inherent to AIS are key to maintaining strong relationship with the largest enterprise customers and keeping them from using third-party diagnostic solutions.
