Level 3 to provide IP, data center services to Lacoste in Brazil
Level 3 Communications (NYSE: LVLT) added another big win to its growing enterprise services customer list by signing an agreement to provide Lacoste's affiliate, Devanlay Ventures do Brasil Ltda., IP and data services in Brazil.
The service provider will deliver the clothing and accessories company a wide array of products and services including virtual hosting, data storage and backup services all of which will support Lacoste's organization operations throughout the Latin American country.
These services will provide various benefits to Lacoste and its employees.
With the virtual hosting services, store employees will be able to manage sales and other company processes, including product changes, across all of its locations in Brazil. Also, all of the company's data will be hosted by Level 3's Latin American data center-based servers, which will be accessible by the company's financial team in its regional headquarters.
Latin America has become a big market for the competitive provider. It recently added new hosting and storage capabilities and increased service support to better enable the regional and global growth of its customers.
While it did not reveal the financial terms of the agreement, announcing new customer wins like Lacoste is another proof point the provider can use as it looks to appeal to new customers in Brazil and throughout Latin America.
