Level 3 sues Limelight over CDN patents

Tools

Catching up on some news that broke in the waning hours of 2007, Level 3 Communications has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Limelight Networks, alleging that Limelight built its content delivery network (CDN) platform by using technology Level 3 had bought the rights to in its previous acquisition of Sandpiper Networks.
