NTT America introduces new cloud, IP, data center indirect channel partner program

NTT America's Global Solution and Data Center Services business unit is taking advantage of this week's Cloud Partners 2014 to debut its NTT America Global Solutions Channel Partner Program.

The service provider said that this indirect program will allow U.S. channel partners to sell NTT America's suite of domestic and international information and communications technology solutions to business customers.

Leveraging its growing base of master agents, distributors, managed service providers (MSPs), system integrators (SIs), and value-added resellers (VARs) in finding providers with deep ICT expertise, NTT said its Global Solutions Channel Partner Program is focused on meeting the needs of channel partners who want to expand their enterprise, global and cloud capabilities.

Agents that sign up for the new program will be able to sell all of NTT America's products and services, including cloud computing, hosting, colocation, IP, Arcstar Universal One private network, MPLS and security. Channel partners will also get access to additional pre-sales, engineering and post-sales support.

"This program provides channel partners with dedicated resources from a team with extensive technology, channel and strategic partnership experience--while being backed by NTT's global reach and financial stability as one of the top three telecom companies in the world," said Rob Westervelt, NTT America vice president and general manager, Indirect Global Solutions, in a release.

One of the other services that channel partners will be able to access is Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) from NTT subsidiary Arkadin, which it acquired in January. Arkadin solutions are also included in the integrated solution set that channel partners may sell under the new NTT America Channel Partner Program.

Being able to attract and maintain new channel partners should help NTT America enhance its reach in large enterprise accounts that are looking for service providers that can serve their domestic needs, but also to immediate access to other growing regions such as Asia Pacific and Europe.
