NXTcomm: GenBand lands Integra Telecom deal, NEC partnership
Media gateway firm GenBand was at NXTcomm in Las Vegas this week talking about its new progress at a marketing level after a series of acquisitions going back the last few years. Mehmet Balos, the industry veteran who joined GenBand as executive vice president and chief marketing officer earlier this year, said the company has contributed to about a dozen international femtocells trials, and that it can support 400,000 femtocell subscribers with its platform.
